Research Associates cum Local Co-ordinator -(2 Positions)
Job Description
1. Responsible to gather knowledge, information, data etc from state/central initiatives, various initiatives in fisheries sector, policies and market trends so that they can communicate will with sectoral experts. Besides they should also have experience of conducting market / sectoral / technology / training assessment using various survey tools and methods.
2. Support in baseline energy assessment studies of potential end users.
3. Work closely with stakeholders identified as part of the project and execution of activities in field.
4. They should have experience of dealing with mid to senior level Government officials especially in conducting detailed interview and consultation.
5. Should have proven exposure and experience of data collection from different sources/channels.
Project Description
The objective of the project is to facilitate the creation of an enabling market environment for promoting productive use of Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) technologies and services catering to farm and allied sectors in rural India, that directly help in achieving the dual goals of carbon dioxide emission reduction and rural poverty alleviation. The goal of the project would be to improve the quality of life of rural populations by providing affordable clean energy technologies leading to saving of the recurring fuel costs.
